Almond Apricot Dessert Tarts...


Almond Apricot Dessert Tarts...

A little more complex to bake.
But worth every minute of your time.

 Line six mini tart dishes with readymade sweet short pastry.

 Prepare the almond filling...


 Shape into six even balls and place on top of each uncooked pastry shell. 
Press to even out.


 Place apricot wedges on top of filling.

 Sprinkle with flaked almonds.


 And then drizzle with maple syrup.

 Bake.

 Serve warm with fresh cream.
