Christmas Ideas for Mia Bella...

I ADORE Christmas decorations...
I ADORE crafting, creating and cooking for Christmas...
and planning is paramount.
Otherwise...
 the days just simply disappear,
then before you know it...
Bells are jingling and...
Christmas celebrations have begun!
I look forward to sharing these creations with ya
all over the next few months...
So lets start
with the Christmas picture.
Thank you to:
'The Cottage Market'
as this is where I found
'Rudolph'
a fab Christmas  chalkboard printable.

Rudolph Chalkboard Art
Go to this link to get it:

You can frame Christmas printables
but I wanted to use a canvas as a backing.
First, I printed the picture onto heavy card.
I painted a black background on the canvas using acrylic paint.
 Then when it was dry,
glued the Rudolph Printable onto to that.
I used  craft glue to create a border around the print...
And covered it in gold glitter.
And before you make noises about my heavy handed glittering,
The excess was tipped into my Stampin Up Glitter collecting tray.
Which you then tip the excess back into the bottle.
Brilliant!!
And here is the finished piece!!

Mia Bella Gardens - Loving Spring!

 Gracie is loving Spring...
Her favourite pastime is smelling flowers!
Deliciously warm Spring sunshine...
New growth,
blossom and flowers in all shades and hues...
We're Loving Spring at 'Mia Bella Gardens'!

Simply Delightful Ombre Flowers...

Most of the flowers each season at Mia Bella Gardens are self seeders...
And this Spring from last seasons
mauve and shocking pink single flower stock
- a simply delightful ombre hybrid.
And it is 'Beautiful'!!!
Delicate soft hues of pink...
Nature never fails to inspire with it's uniqueness.

George said... 'Who me?'

WHO ME????
"Yes, I know there is a (another!) big hole in the garden..."
"Honestly I have been lounging on the outdoor couch all morning."

But I think that the dirt on the nose George
is more than a little incriminating!!

(George the Hungarian Vizsla is the resident trouble-maker at Mia Bella Gardens).

Red Rhododendron Love...

This red rhododendron is always the first to flower each Spring...
With huge buds bursting open...
over the entire plant!
The variety is a mystery...
as it was planted in 'Mia Bella Gardens' 20 years ago,
well before the importance of keeping plant labels was understood!
But I am sure you will appreciate its beauty...
Even though it remains nameless!
It is loving a semi shaded position in Mia Bella Gardens....
And what a stunning display of red and green reminiscent of Christmas...
which reminds me...
I have a Christmas project list awaiting,
- have a wonderful day my friends!
