Hazelnut Shortbread Slice...❥

What is your favourite nut?
I have three!
Almonds, macadamia, and hazelnut.

Today's Nom nom post is all about hazelnuts...
with the added bonus of a dark chocolate topping.

Take one food processor.
Grind your hazelnuts in it.
Then add sugar and soft butter.
Pulse until creamed.
Add flour - pulse until mixed to a dough.
Press the mixture into a slice pan pre-lined with baking paper.

Bake in a oven heated to 190 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes or until slightly golden.

Remove from the oven and place on top:
chopped dark cooking chocolate or dark chocolate melts.
place back into oven for a few minutes until melted.

Then simply smooth over with a cake icing spatula to cover the slice. 
When cold - slice and serve.
