Creating a mini garden table piece is a fun and easy way to add some greenery and Easter spirit to your patio, indoor table or hall table.
With garden materials and some creativity, you can design the perfect mini garden table piece to match your personal style.
I'll show you how I designed mine.
Materials I used:
· Shallow bowl and another small bowl to fit inside it.
· Small plants - bok choy, fennel, lobelia, pansy, lemongrass
· Potting mix
· Pea straw
· Easter decorations: eggs and a ceramic bunny
· Potting mix
Instructions:
1. Layer pea straw inside the large bowl.
2. Place the plants into the smaller bowl and top up with potting soil. Water well.
4. Put this planter in the back of the larger bowl.
5. Top up the pea straw and add your bunny and eggs.
Note:
There are no drainage holes in this Easter mini garden table piece, and it is only designed to be on display for about two weeks before planting the plants in the garden.
Alternative Materials:
Low-sided basket or wooden box
Moss or sphagnum moss
Rocks
Decorations such as ceramic eggs, chickens, birds, bird nests, small garden trowels, and Easter word signs.
