Create a simple but classy Valentine's vignette for your home decor.
Materials Needed:
One each large and medium-sized battery candle
Glue or tape
Thin red ink pen
Thin ribbon, twine or braided rope
Hole punch
Tall glass vase
Flowers (roses are classic, but any blooms will do and can be garden picked or florist supplied)
Heart-shaped decorations
Templates:
Heart templates and Love words printed on A4 white paper.
Steps to Create the Vignette:
1. Start by choosing a central location for your vignette, such as a mantel, coffee table, or shelf.
2. Print the templates. Cut strips of the love words and glue them around the candles.
3. Cut out the hearts.
Write the names of your loves inside in red ink pen.
Punch a hole in the top of the heart and thread them with the ribbon or twine.
4. Arrange the flowers into the vase.
I used red gerberas and white carnation sprays.
5. Place the candles and heart-shaped decorations at the base of the vase.
Cluster them together and vary the heights for interest.
6. Add in any other love-themed trinkets or figurines to complete the romantic look if you wish.
7. Attach the hearts to two stems of the flowers with the ribbon, twine or braided rope and dangle them at the front of the vase.
Your simple but classy Valentine's Day vignette is ready to bring joy and love to your home!
And it looks lovely at night with the subtle glow of the candles.
