How would I describe this drink?
Quenching on a hot day.
And as I am a Southern Hemisphere Blogger, this drink recipe is a keeper for the summer that is just around the corner.
(If you are a Northern Hemisphere person save it for your summer to come).
A flavourful end-of-day nonalcoholic drink.
But if you like a little tipple, add vodka or gin to the mix.
This drink is fabulous to serve with a platter of cheese and crackers.
Or this drink is a perfect match with Mia Bella Passions' gluten-free, keto-friendly, crisp, creamy and healthy savoury cucumber hors-doeuvres
To Make:
Place 6 Green tea bags in a heat-resistant jug
Add 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 2 Tablespoons of clear or creamy clover honey.
Pour over 4 cups of boiling water.
Stir until sugar dissolves.
Add 3 Tablespoons of finely diced fresh mint leaves.
Add 1 half of a telegraph cucumber that has been diced.
Leave to cool.
Remove the tea bags.
Add the juice of one lemon.
If you are adding alcohol do this now by mixing in 1/2 cup of vodka or gin.
Strain.
Refrigerate for one hour.
Serve over ice in glasses.
Add slices of cucumber and mint leaves to garnish.

If your life is anything like mine, it's a juggle.
Are you a professional multitasker as I am?
Halloween fun decor is still the theme of choice here at 'Mia Bella Passions', and I just wanted to add something else that was reasonably quick and easy to create to put on the trick-or-treat table.
So I created this sweet-painted ghost rock scene to display.
I collected these small rocks from a local riverbed.
Then I got out the trusty spray paint (what would we crafters do without spray paint?) and painted the rocks ghostly white.
Leaving the rocks to dry, then turning them over and painting the back side white too.
Once they were completely dry, I used black acrylic art and craft paint to paint on the eyes and mouth.
I didn't use a sealer after painting as these will displayed be indoors.
To display the ghost rocks, I used a leaf-shaped white pickle dish.
You can use any interesting shaped white plate you want to, but just be aware it needs to have a shiny glaze on it so that the 'Bostik Blu tac' will stick the rocks to the plate.
Next using the Blu Tack, I positioned my ghostly family collective in place.
For a snowy effect, I piled Epsom Salts around them.
Epsom Salts can be unsafe if you have pets if they eat it.
(OK for me to use as have had no pets since my old darling kitty 'Miss Arabella' passed over Rainbow Bridge).
The Salts may also have a laxative effect on a curious child, so you may wish to use artificial instant snow if you recreate my project.
My Last Minute Easy Halloween Ghost decor piece looks fantastic!
I have 'a thing' for anything remotely snow-orientated.
Maybe it's because I live in a warm climate part of New Zealand's North Island, and snow is a total novelty to me!
And love the snowy effect the Epsom Salt gives around the ghosts which I might now call 'Snow Ghosts'.

Pancakes are a fabulous start to the day.
And these Cinnamon Apple Pancakes are simple to make and delicious!
This recipe serves two people with two pancakes each.
You can eat them off a breakfast plate warm and buttered.
Or serve as I have with a dusting of powdered icing sugar, pure maple syrup drizzles and fresh apple slices.
Ingredients:
1 large egg
1 medium-sized apple - peeled
2 Tablespoons fine sugar
2 Tablespoons low-fat yoghurt (I used Apricot)
2/3 cup sifted white flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
To serve:
Fresh Apple slices
Maple Syrup
Powdered icing sugar
or
butter
To Make:
In a bowl whisk the egg and sugar until mixed well.
Add the yoghurt and grated apple. Mix.
Add the flour, cinnamon and baking powder.
Fold together.
Grease a hot pan with butter.
Place two tablespoons of mixture in the pan.
Flip over once the panside is browned.
Cook until sides are set.
Serve.
